You can have it all
Experience the ultimate kick within seconds, or enjoy an easy ride over long distances - who says you have to choose? At BMW, XR stands for long-distance performance, thereby combining everything you want in a single bike. The F 900 XR is the clever choice if you want to take the lead with dynamism, but also want to cover longer distances.
Chasing experience after experience
Even the ergonomics are designed with sporty long-distance performance in mind. The upright sitting position enhances your stamina, and the footrest and sitting position for your passenger mean that they can enjoy every kilometre, too. The adjustable upside-down suspension fork allows the rider to configure the spring preload for improved control during compression, either with luggage or a passenger on board.
Kilometre after kilometre
Many of the details have been weight-optimised, allowing you to stay in control on the road. DTC and ABS Pro also ensure an easier ride. You'll feel barely any strain behind the protective front trim panel, allowing you to conquer bend after bend. The hand protection makes your trips safer and more comfortable.
A sporty ride with lightweight luggage
Pack your bags and start your tour. The optional accessory lockable soft case with a sporty design can be easily attached to the case holder, which is included in comfort package. Of course, you'll need your smartphone on board too, and you can even charge it while riding using the USB-C charging port.
Dynamic when on the move
The engine characteristics and your forward momentum - a single, unbeatable unit. You can live out your power through this long-distance champion. The new throttle characteristics of the dynamic riding mode are highly emotive. With ABS Pro and DTC as standard, you can keep the F 900 XR on course with even more precision. Get your kick whenever you feel like it.
Deep sounds, high standards
The deep, thrilling sound of the sports silencer with titanium housing provides an impressive soundtrack for your trips. The silencer, which is available as an optional accessory, is a visual representation of your high standards. Moreover, the slight weight reduction can be felt in the driving dynamics.
